Charity Begins At Home
I am sure you’re wondering where we have been for the past few months. The folks here at the Montgomery Rescue Mission has been busy doing the work of the ministry. In April, Chaplain Browder and the mission team took off to Tennessee to help with the flood victims. Chaplain Browder took over 4,000 pounds of food and water to hard hit communities in Nashville Tennesse.
Upon our arrival the American Red Cross directed us to a little community that had no assistance. No water, no food, no one to see about them at all. Until help came from the Montgomery Rescue Mission. Chap and his team stayed for two days aiding in the clean up efforts and passing out food and water. Way to Go Montgomery Rescue!
